According to leaker "Unknownz21", the fourth generation iPhone SE will have an iPhone 15 Pro style action button, as well as many other important new features.
Earlier this week, the leaker described the fourth-generation “iPhone SE” as “essentially a derivative of the iPhone 14,” echoing previous reports from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In his latest tweet, Unknownz21 brings new details on Apple's next low-cost iPhone and reiterates that its design will be based on the "iPhone 14". Apparently, the device will have a USB-C port, which will distance the “iPhone SE” from Lightning for the first time. It will apparently also feature Face ID, denying previous rumors that the iPhone SE may retain a Touch ID button.
Most interestingly, the device will have a button like the iPhone 15 Pro and “iPhone 15 Pro” Max. This would be a big difference between the iPhone SE and the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which likely won't offer this feature. According to reports, the iPhone SE will also feature a single rear camera setup like the current model.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the orders from manufacturers Apple is currently betting on OLED panels in the fourth-generation iPhone SE, which would represent a significant improvement over the existing model's LCD screen. The next-generation iPhone SE is also believed to be one of the first to include Apple's much-rumored custom 5G modem. The launch is not expected to take place before 2025.
